The Club & Organization Resource & Education (CORE) Conference is a mandatory event for clubs and organizations to maintain good standing for the Fall Semester. CORE Conference is held on two nights, a club representative only needs to attend ONE of those nights to meet the requirement. Clubs and organizations should send their president or at least one representative to attend CORE Conference and complete attendance. That attendee is tasked with relaying information to the rest of the club. You're welcome to bring additional leaders or members to CORE Conference. The presentation is designed to provide you with practical resources and tools to enhance your organization's success on campus.
Here’s what you need to know to successfully participate:
- The presentation/slides will be posted once CORE Conference concludes
- All club members and advisors are highly encouraged to review the CORE Conference presentation.
- Attendance will be tracked through completion of the link provided at CORE Conference
If a club representative does not attend CORE Conference, and compelte the attendance form, then the club will not be in good standing and the club portal will be locked on Engage. In order to get back into good standing and to reactivate your portal acitivated, you must contact Jesse Vinson (vinsonjp@appstate.edu), Associate Director of Campus Activities to complete a CORE Conference make up requirement.
