Club Funding Overview

The purpose of Club Funding is to assist Appalachian State University’s student organizations to sponsor programs and events beneficial to the entire student body and to support the educational travel of club members. Club Council has approximately $70,000 to grant to student organizations.  Reminder: Department Affilated organizations, (UREC) Club Sports teams, FSL Councils are not allowed to apply for Club Council funding. (FSL organizations ARE allowed to apply for funding). 

There are three funding categories:

  • On-Campus Educational Program (max $2,200)
  • Educational Travel (max $1,150)
  • Operational Expenses (max $920)
